Profile contains personal information, preferences, security controls and privacy requests for the authenticated identity. It differs from Administrator → Users and does not grant roles or access to other tenants. Open it from the account menu and verify identity before editing. Deletion requests follow the stated process; they do not immediately remove shared objects or retained records.
Before you begin
Use a laboratory account for reversible preference checks. Before changing a password, prepare the authentication factors needed to sign in again. Treat a profile export as personal information and store it in an authorized location.
Procedure
- Open Profile and inspect name, email, tenant and role. If identity is unexpected, close it and resolve context before editing.
- Choose a supported Timezone and use Save preferences. Reopen to verify persistence. This preference does not change a Workflow calendar timezone.
- For Change photo, use PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 10 MB. The flow center-crops to a 256-pixel square and optimizes the image before upload. Wait for confirmation.
- Use Remove photo only when removal is intended and confirm the accepted result. A processing failure does not prove a photo was saved or removed.
- To change a password, supply Current password, New password and Confirm new password. The UI requires 12–128 characters and the server can apply additional rules.
- Remember that changing password signs out browser sessions and trusted devices. Authenticate again through the normal flow.
- Distinguish Download profile export, Request profile data deletion and Request account deletion. Read confirmation before Submit request.
Verify the result
Change a laboratory account timezone, save and reopen to verify it, then restore the baseline. Privacy dialogs can be inspected and cancelled without submitting a request. Track a submitted request as pending until the process confirms its outcome.
Errors and recovery
If Save fails, check persisted state before retrying. If a session ends after password change, sign in again rather than assuming object loss. Correct a rejected photo format or size. Keep exports, MFA factors and recovery material out of shared screenshots.
Synthetic example
Temporarily change Timezone to America/Lima in a laboratory account. Check a supported time presentation and restore the original preference without changing Workflow scheduling.
