The account menu shows identity, workspace and active role. It also offers personal actions such as Profile, Downloads, API Keys, Documentation and Sign out according to available access. Light/Dark and palettes change presentation; they do not change permissions or make an account an administrator of other tenants.
Before you begin
Know the workspace where you should work and use only contexts offered to your identity. Review Open items and unsaved changes before changing tenant or signing out. Do not use a context switch to resolve uncertainty about draft ownership.
Procedure
- Open the menu and read identity, tenant and active role. Stop write actions if the context is unexpected.
- Inspect Open items and deliberately save or discard necessary changes. An open editor does not guarantee persistence.
- Select only an authorized workspace offered by the UI. Wait for transition and verify context again.
- If permitted role selection is offered, choose the intended role and check resulting actions. A hidden action can be correct behavior.
- Adjust Light/Dark or an available palette. Check readability, focus and states; color should not be your only reference.
- Open Profile for preferences and personal security or Developer Tools for downloads and automation. Use Documentation for product help.
- When finished on a shared computer, use Sign out. Return through normal login and MFA. Closing a tab is not explicit logout.
Verify the result
You can identify the tenant of displayed records and distinguish appearance from authorization. Perform a reversible exercise by changing theme and restoring the original without changing data. Check that keyboard focus and text remain visible.
Errors and recovery
If switching fails, verify the actually active context before retrying. If an object disappears, check tenant, role, filters and permission rather than immediately recreating it. If a personal action is unavailable, inspect authorized access instead of relying on a role name.
Synthetic example
In Training, open Profile from the menu, inspect timezone and close without changes. Then enable Dark and return to Light; neither action should publish or execute a Workflow.
Verification scope
Use synthetic data and the role authorized for the task. Compare a visual confirmation with the saved record or relevant attempt. Retain only safe identifiers and messages for support; do not share secrets, personal information or tenant data. If an operation outcome is uncertain, check its state before repeating it.
Tenant, Domain and Environment in the user menu
The Tenant, Domain and Environment summary appears in the bottom operational status bar of Dova and Administrator. Click the summary to open the user menu with all three selectors. It retains the environment badge and color without a top strip or duplicate fields.
Open the user button in the left sidebar. In the same menu, choose Tenant, Domain and Environment from the authorized values. Wait for the context to load and check the environment before editing or running. These three selectors replace the large context section on the screen. The menu opens to the right of its button when space allows and fits the visible viewport; on small screens, scroll inside it to reach Sign out.
After a Domain is successfully created, renamed or deleted, the Domain list updates without reloading the entire application. If the selected Domain is deleted, Dova checks an available destination while preserving the unsaved-change guard. If switching cannot complete, review the context and use Retry context; do not continue writing in an unavailable context.
Interface language
In the user menu, select ES, EN or PT to change the interface language. The preference is saved to your profile and used by Dova and Administrator. If saving fails, the interface reports it and restores the previous choice. Available application labels change; artifact names, identities, fields, code and user data are not renamed. Style, palette and permissions retain their own configuration.
Compact bottom bar
The bar keeps Tenant, Domain and Environment visible alongside connection state. Operational details opens a panel above the bar with Active, Workers, Queue, Plan, Autosave and Updated. Read operational details there without another permanent row. Validation state keeps its access when an action is relevant; DovaAI has its own space when docked. On small screens some text is abbreviated; context and accessible control names are retained.
